Rally to restore conformity

Tomorrow sanity will be restored for those of us who are too busy to participate in our own lives. Political moderates of every stripe, having achieved temperance through a life at work, will come together for an afternoon of entertainment, and "not being crazy." Finally: an affirmation of what is normal!

That was a good one.

Actually, I'm proud of Jon Stewart's handling of Obama:

yeah, this one's a doozy. imagine if liberals cared as much about working people as they do about exhibiting their normalcy.

Bah, how you all doubt the galvanizing, community-building power of normal.

I want to be normal, I just can't decide on a norm.

I was truly disappointed by Stewart's speech at this rally, along with many of the signs. He spewed equivalencies, equating Glenn Beck with Keith Olbermann, and suggesting that those who call Bush a war criminal are just as crazy as those who think Obama is socialist. He even talked about how communists are trying to undermine the Constitution. I lost a great deal of respect for that man within ten minutes.
