Very nice! Makes me think of if James Blackshaw played on a Carpenter soundtrack, but that's only if I'm comparing it to things. Cool percussion track.
I have very recently watched both "They Live!" and "Big Trouble in Little China". I can say conclusively that this music is in no way as horrible as a Carpenter soundtrack.
Thanks for introducing me to Blackshaw, Ethan. I can see how you make the association. I think my musical obsession has always been to have guitars sound like synths or sequencers, but keeping the guitar tones. That leads you into arpeggiation and open arrangements, which seems to be Blackshaw's signature style.
Hey Todd: Yeah, I think the big influences for me were more along the lines of Escape from New York and The Thing. The theme to Halloween was the first thing I taught myself to play on any instrument, and I still think it's brilliant.

The Assault on Precinct 13 soundtrack is one of my favorite minimalist albums.
Cool, Ethan. I'm excited because I know nothing about that one.
Thanks for using the time and effort to write something so interesting.
