C.I.A. Unit on bin Laden Is Understaffed

Three years after the Sept. 11 attacks on New York and the Pentagon, the Central Intelligence Agency has fewer experienced case officers assigned to its headquarters unit dealing with Osama bin Laden than it did at the time of the attacks, despite repeated pleas from the unit's leaders for reinforcements, a senior C.I.A. officer with extensive counterterrorism experience has told Congress.

No, but now the problem is Iran. Haven't you heard.? Now the evil iranians are developing nukes. I saw it on tv, so it must be true.

That's probably where the evil Iraqis , who were harboring the evil Saudis who escaped from the evil sections of Afghanistan, have gone for refuge. And they are either with us or against us ("against us" means they have oil we want.)

I imagine that Syria, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia are probably pretty evil as well, but we can only take on so much evil at once. Oh, did you hear that they are going to increase oil production for our election after all. How very subtle...NOT!
