The Great Disappearing Draft Notice

Syntax isn't the only frightening thing about this sentence:

If a military draft becomes necessary, approximately 2,000 Local and Appeal Boards throughout America would decide which young men, who submit a claim, receive deferments, postponements or exemptions from military service, based on Federal guidelines.

I'm with Michael Moore 100% on this one--it's time that the families who created the wars went off to fight them:

See Roll Call Votes for H.J. RES 114 authorizing Bush to do whatever he saw fit as far as Iraq:

House of Representatives Vote
The Senate Vote
If the people who voted yes on this thought it was necessary, then their families can fight it.

Darn, I just noticed that the link I gave for the Senate vote was another temporary link. I hate the way that government sites do that!!!!!! They clearly don't want people sharing information about what they are up to. :-(
